NASCAR

Designed and produced multiple projects for the hit syndicated television show NASCAR Angels, including press kits, print ads, posters, standees, direct mail pieces, sweepstakes materials, and PowerPoint presentations. Also, worked on several promotions for Exide Batteries, a NASCAR partner.

 

Zoes Kitchen

Zoes was looking to attract a new dinnertime crowd, so Gien Design was contracted as part of a larger agency. Together, we created a program called We Time that consisted of table tents, coasters, posters, in-store signage, and social media outreach.

Carsey-Werner & Fox TV

Created life-size standees and promotional materials for two nationwide cross-promotional programs supporting the television hit shows That 70s Show and The Practice. Promotional Standees were displayed in Broadway Across America theaters nationwide as a joint venture.

 

New Line Cinema

For the premiere of Austin Powers at the Cannes Film Festival, Charmayne created a themed guest welcome packet that included a 12-page booklet, and fun promotional items such as an Austin Powers bobblehead that “spoke” popular phrases.

US Attorney’s Office

Conceptualized and designed a statewide, bilingual and bipartisan campaign for gun safety supported by the Phoenix mayor’s office and the United States ATF. This initiative is ongoing and includes a website, billboards, posters, direct mail pieces, ads, and promotional items.

 

Women in Film

For several years, Gien Design provided pro bono design services for this organization’s annual awards gala. Each event was themed and materials are typically save-the-dates, invitations, auction cards, program guides, table tents, menus, and signage.

Major League Baseball

Charmayne was hired to represent the South African baseball team at the first World Baseball Classic held in Arizona to handle press relations, including writing and submitting daily press releases, and scheduling player and manager interviews with journalists for print, TV, radio, and online platforms.

 

US Army

Contracted to author a marketing manual for the United States Army MWR (Morale, Welfare, and Recreation departments), Charmayne developed and led a program to teach MWR managers how to market their programs efficiently and effectively.
